Intermediate/Advanced Silk

Intended for an intermediate or advanced level aerialist, this workshop will focus on fluidity and transitions to incorporate into fresh choreography.

Aaron and Nina will be offering new transitions, poses, and drops to access from an already strong foundation. This workshop will help intermediate and advanced aerialists obtain new perspective of their apparatus/partner: the silks. The class intends to offer fresh vocabulary for students and encourage them to be creative and experimental in developing choreographies.

Biography

Anna holds an MFA in Fiction Writing from New School University. Her debut novel, END TIMES, a doomsday thriller set in oil country, is out now from Penguin/Razorbill. A poetry fanatic since a young age, she's presented the Poetry for Unpretentious People workshop at PEX Summerfest 2013, the FIGMENT festival, Alpha, and Burning Man - and she can't wait to share it with you!
