Mindfulness and Yoga for Mental Wealth
Kristin Iannuzzelli, M.Ed, ERYT-200
Sunday 3pm @ Labyrinth
In this workshop, we will learn how to create and add to our "Mental Wealth," our everyday sense of social and emotional richness and wellbeing.
Participants will learn and practice easy-to-use mindfulness techniques, yogic postures, and breathwork to transform common counter-productive emotions and mindsets into positive and healthy ways of feeling, thinking, and interacting with the world.
Biography
Kristin has been joyfully teaching vinyasa and other styles of yoga since April 2010. Her style has been described as creative and inspiring, yet deeply foundational and alignment based.
Kristin believes that in yoga, as in life, we must begin by gaining an understanding of the fundamental truths that will guide us safely and healthily to a deeper practice and higher place within ourselves; namely safe alignment, connection to the breath, patience, compassion, lightheartedness, and curiosity. With an M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology, Kristin believes deeply in the mind-body connection and challenges herself and others to use the mat as a safe place to explore and become curious about who we are.
