Growing up in the DMV to a large, Irish family the musical journey began when Meegs picked up her first Irish instruments (tin whistle & bodhran) before the age of 10. For more than a decade she became an Irisih step dancing champion & teacher when 'Riverdance' became a national phenomenon. Meegs was introduced to EDM in the 90's & began promoting, hosting & producing parties after she moved to LA in 2000. It wasn't until 2006 that she was inspired to dj herself after attending her 1st Burning Man. With her Celtic influences she favors deep, tribal beats, lyrics with emotional content & basslines that thump...sometimes into the wee hours of the morning. Most recently, after a year in New Zealand where she hosted the 'Deep Digs' show on Radio Ponsonby, Meegs has returned to the DC area where she holds several residencies around the city. She looks forward to her 4th year at PEX with camp Meso Creso.
