DJ BEATrix brings the essential booty-shaking tunes with tropical bass, afro-brazilian, balkan beats, latin and tribal house, bollywood/bhangra booty, NOLA bounce, and other world beats. Returning for her fourth year playing at PEX Summerfest, DJ BEATrix is a resident DJ with Meso Creso, Washington DC's world music and art collective (www.mesocreso.org); a co-founder and resident of Ottomania and Tropic of Bass; and spins at numerous east coast clubs and private parties, including Velvet Lounge, Zeba Bar, Jimmy Valentine's Lonely Hearts Club, and House of Yes.
