The Teknacolorninja is sneaky by nature... flamboyant, colorful in personality, and shines through her eclectic sets. Her flow evolves with the scene, but one thing remains clear - her love of bass music and making booties pop.

It was while living in Wilmington, NC that she truly embodied the Teknacolorninja where she soon became a familiar face as “the downtown lady deejay” in 2009. This ninja was a stealthy energetic force that radiated the Wilmington scene collaborating with fellow artists, deejaying a few beach raves and eventually her first burn - Mayhem 2009 (Cape's Sphere, NC). These days, she is brighter than ever, hitting it hard with the Mischief DC crew and lovable Richmond compadres -Party Liberation Front (PLF), with whom she’s attributed many of her dj firsts in the burner community - yielding friendships, inspiration and opportunities to connect with like-minded souls.

The Teknacolorninja’s mission (as most ninjas would have) is to move a crowd through a musical conversation and invite all “colors” or walks of life to the dancefloor. In her mixes, she pushes the envelope in experimenting with different sounds, cultures and vibes, feeding off her environment and blending them into a seamless journey (or a swift kick to the head!).

She currently helps host a global bass party in DC called “Tropic of Bass”, showcasing tropical beats and steamy sensual vibes. Other events the ninja has been a part of include Vitamin B’s monthly in Brooklyn, Homogrind (NYC), Mischief’s Artist Inaugural Ball 2013 and Naughty Snowball 4, PEX Halloween Ball 2012, Burning Man 2012, PEX Summer Fest 2012 (Meso Creso), Figment DC 2012, Figment NYC 2012.

The Teknacolorninja currently resides in Philadelphia, but sneaks her way up and down the Northeast in hopes to make you quiver, grind and shake about ^_^!
