Tektite got his start in the 90's with UK Hardcore and Drum n' Bass, but over the years fell in love with breakbeats and eased back on the tempo. In the mid 2000's he migrated from San Francisco to the East Coast and eventually ended up in New York City. In 2008 he founded Vitamin B, NYC's longest running and biggest breakbeat party.
