I would like people to find pleasure and peace, a feeling of comfort and beauty, when observing or interacting with this piece. The piece will be interactive. People may stitch how they see fit into the sheer fabric panels stretched amongst the trees and caught in the wind. The ethereal installation could be either installed in one sole tree or, what I am really envisioning, amongst a small row of trees that hold sheer fabric panels tied around different branches and attached at the ground to catch the wind like sails. I could install the sheer fabric panels along the edge of a trail or amongst the trees in a wooded section, scattered in a sort of maze. My hope is to catch the energetic movements of the wind with the fabric panels.
