The Imaginarium
Matt Vitale - Bethlehem, PA
By Matt Vitale
The Imaginarium communicates inspiration. Everything you see has been hand-made almost entirely of recycled materials. We provide a magical space for anyone and everyone to share, converse, play games, create art, music, and much much more.
The Imaginarium is a pentagonal colorful circus tent, approximately 50' x 55' and 30' tall. It is a functional art piece we created out of all recycled materials from a sailboat sail (which reflects projections magnificently), busted bounce house, winter boat covers, parachute scraps, and more. It is very colorful and open, with hand-made LED art installations. We bring hand-made, up-cycled, propane tank hang drums and interactive games to engage festival participants. There will be an interactive potato head sculpture for all to play with and more within The Imaginarium. We will also be hosting The Imaginarium's original mini hat workshop, where we teach participants how to make their own mini hats of varying styles. We provide materials, tools, and fabric for people to walk away proudly wearing their swanky creations. Other costuming, or craft workshops may be offered.
